2026 National Roofers & Waterproofers Apprenticeship Competition
Hosted at the Livermore Training Center | May 19–21, 2026
The Bay Area Counties Roofing & Waterproofing Apprenticeship Training Program is proud to announce that our Livermore, California Training Center will host the 2026 National Roofers & Waterproofers Apprenticeship Competition from May 19th through May 21st, 2026, from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM daily.
This premier national event will bring together some of the most respected leaders and organizations in the Roofing & Waterproofing industry, including material manufacturers, distributors and suppliers, union leadership, contractors, and top apprenticeship program directors, coordinators, and instructors from across the United States.
Most importantly, the competition will showcase the nation’s top apprentices as they compete in three separate categories demonstrating their craftsmanship, technical knowledge, and professionalism through a wide variety of roofing and waterproofing system installations. Competitors will be evaluated on the core values that define our industry: quality workmanship, safety, efficiency, teamwork, and attention to detail.
The National Apprenticeship Competition serves as more than just a contest—it is a celebration of the future of our trade and a unique opportunity for industry collaboration, education, networking, and mentorship. Attendees will witness firsthand the skill, dedication, and pride that today’s apprentices bring to the Roofing & Waterproofing industry.
